Bella's Tasty Treats is Located in South Bend, IN. What started out as a hobby has now become our passion and we're delighted to share it with you. Healthy, Natural Dog Treats
We want every dog to be happy and healthy and that is why we use real and wholesome ingredients in all our batches of handmade treats. All ingredients are human grade and you will not find any artificial preservatives in our treats. We use local ingredients when available and fresh ingredients.
Flours
We use only human grade whole wheat flour and oat flour in all our recipes. If your dog is sensitive ask about our Oat flour treats.
Fruits and Vegetables
Fruits and vegetables are not only important in our diets but are very important for our pets too. In several of our recipes we use fresh carrots, apples, blueberries,and bananas.
Icing
Our Dog Treat Icing is the perfect all natural, no sugars added, yogurt based icing that is Wheat Free, Soy Free, Corn Free, Preservative Free, No hydrogenated fats
Ingredients: Yogurt Powder, Non-Fat Milk Powder, Modified Tapioca Starch, Egg Whites, Tapioca Maltodextrin, Apple Pectin, Granulated Rice and Titanium Dioxide.
Human Grade food coloring.
Frosting
Our Frosting is a Wheat Free Dog Cake Frosting it is a all natural, no sugars added, yogurt based frosting.
Soy Free, Preservative Free, No hydrogenated or palm oils.
Ingredients: Dehydrated Yogurt Cultures, Non-Fat Milk Powder, Modified Tapioca Starch, Egg Whites, Granulated Rice and Titanium Dioxide.

All You Wanted to Know And More
DO TREATS (CAKES, PUP CAKES , COOKIES ETC.) NEED TO BE REFRIGERATED?
Yes, Most of our treats will eventually need to be refrigerated unlike store products our treats do not contain any preservatives all of our homemade treats are baked with normal ingredients found in our kitchen they also contain fresh fruits or vegetables and possibly egg that can cause the treats to expire faster without refrigeration. Place any of your treats in the fridge for longer shelf life. Cakes & Pupcakes should be consumed within 4 days with refrigeration. Cookies with icing should be consumed within a week or stored in freezer. Biscuits shelf life last up to 1 year (but let’s face it they won’t last that long ) , no need for refrigeration they are fully dehydrated for long shelf life .

WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO MAKE/SELL DOG TREATS?
What inspired me was adding Bella to our family . Since having Bella I have always been cautious what Bella eats from her daily Dog food to her treats , I wanted to know what was in her treats and couldn’t make out any of the ingredients on the packages from the store. I decided to do a lot of research and many days later I found ways to give her a healthier life by making my own treats, so I did and she loved them! What became a normal hobby for me gave us the idea to share that with everyone else. I wanted everyone who bought treats to know the ingredients in their dogs diet ,most dogs have allergies and can't find treats that fit their dogs needs so I wanted to help with that.
